Eleni Giannopoulou

Eleni Giannopoulou is economist, graduated from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences in 2009. She followed postgraduate studies in Economic and Regional Development of the same University, where she obtained a Master’s degree with honors. From 2016 till now, she is PhD Candidate in issues of Maritime Spatial Planning (MSP), Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) and Land – Sea Interaction (LSI).

In 2009, she obtained the License of Exercise for the Profession of Economist from the Economic Chamber of Greece and in 2010 the License of Exercise for the Profession of Accountant – Tax Consultant (Third Class). Since 2009, she is also a member of the Association of Greek Regional Economists. In the context of her professional activity, in the last five years she is working as Erasmus Coordinator at the University of West Attica, responsible for the biggest Consortium of Internships in Greece. She is fluent in English and speaks good French.

During her undergraduate and postgraduate studies, she received scholarships for excellent performance from the State Scholarship Foundation. In addition, she participated in the elaboration of the proposal for the proclamation of the Municipality of Delphi as the European Cultural Capital of 2021, assuming the economic and regional planning.
