Georgia Pozoukidou

Georgia Pozoukidou  is Assistant Professor of Urban Planning, Policies and Urban Land Use Models at the Faculty of Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She holds an engineering degree in Spatial Planning and Regional Development (University of Thessaly), a MSc in City Planning and Regional Development and a Doctoral Degree in City Planning from the School of Design, University of Pennsylvania, USA. Her scientific interests focus on spatial planning with emphasis on spatial models and the use of quantitative methods to understand land-use interactions. Before her appointment as a faculty member she worked in the public sector gaining significant experience on the issues of protection and management of the natural and cultural heritage and landscape. She has participated in numerous research projects and published more than 70 scientific papers in international and national journals.
